Summer Crumble

A good sister to our winter crumble, this makes the best of the fresh fruit our great summer is giving us.

Ingredients

Prepartion Time   Ready in 5 minutes.
Summer Crumble

Method

  1. Place the flour, sugar and oatflakes into a bowl.
  2. Add margarine and rub in to the dry ingredients with tips of your fingers to form a crumble.
  3. Place the fuits and rhunarn in an oven-proof dish and sweeten with sugar.
  4. Spread crumble over the apples
  5. Bake in a pre-heated oven at 190°C/375°F/Gas 5 for 20-30 minutes.
  6. Serve hot with cream, ice cream, custard, yoghurt or crème fraiche
