Method

  1. Melt the margarine and stir in the sugar and syrup.
  2. Stir in the oats.
  3. Turn into a greased and lined 8”/20cm square tin. Smooth top.
  4. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C/350°F/Gas 4 for 20-30 minutes.
  5. When baked, cool in tin for 2 minutes. Cut into fingers.
  6. Cool completely before removing from tin.
