Almond Rochers

Chewy, sticky sweets which will make you a hit among friends.

Ingredients

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 180C°/350F°/Gas 4
  2. Mix the almonds, icing sugar and liqueur in a bowl, stirring well to combine
  3. Spread the mixture on a baking tray and bake for 20 minutes, stirring now and again until the mixture has browned and crystallised.
  4. Leave until cold, then break into 20-24 pieces.
  5. Melt the chocolate in a bowl over a pan of hot (not boiling) water or in a microwave oven and dip each piece into the chocolate.
  6. Leave on a tray lined with non-stick baking paper until set, then place in paper or foil sweet cases.
