Currants
Shamrock Currants are dried black seedless grapes. All currants derive from the same variety of grape known as the Corinth, from where the word currant originated.
Currants by their nature can be stored for a long time. If the fruit goes hard and crystallises, boil in water to bring back the great sweet taste.
